In recent times, along with the State's investment funds, the people of Que An commune (Que Son district, Quang Nam province) have joined hands and contributed their efforts and money to build their homeland to become more and more prosperous.
Responding to the policy of expanding DH26 road, more than 100 households in Chau Son village (Que An commune) voluntarily donated more than 5,000 square meters of land along with fences, gates, trees and crops to widen the road from 3m to 7.5m.
After the road construction was completed, people continued to plant trees and flowers with a length of more than 1.2km.

Ms. Pham Thi Tat (Group 2, Chau Son village) said that along the road there are 3 self-managed groups, periodically once a month, the groups take care of and prune flowers and trees to ensure good growth.
"We are very excited to build this beautiful route. Every day passing by here, we feel lighter and life becomes more peaceful," Ms. Tat shared.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tin - Secretary of Chau Son village Party Cell said, implementing the model of new rural village (NTM), in recent years, Chau Son village cadres have made efforts to mobilize people to donate land to open roads and actively participate in planting flowers and trees along the roads.

Up to now, the whole village has 6 flower and green tree roads with a total length of more than 5km, contributing significantly to helping Chau Son village reach the standard of a model new-style rural village, making the appearance of the homeland more beautiful.
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Hien - Chairman of Que An Commune People's Committee said: Implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, Que An commune people have actively contributed their efforts and money to join hands with the local government in building New Rural Construction.
As a result, Que An commune was recognized as a commune meeting the NTM standards in 2023. During the journey of building the NTM, the locality mobilized a total of more than 90 billion VND in resources. Of which, direct capital from the program was 30.3 billion VND, combined capital from programs/projects was 45.5 billion VND, and capital contributed by the people and mobilized from other sources was 14.6 billion VND.
From the above capital, Que An commune has the conditions to build infrastructure and develop production. In particular, the transport system alone has been invested up to 34.2 billion VND, along with the people's contribution of land, up to now the commune's transport infrastructure has been basically completed with the rate of commune roads, village roads, inter-village roads being concreted reaching 100% and the rate of alley roads being hardened reaching 81.3%.

Besides, the cultural institution system is increasingly improved, kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, and medical stations meet national standards.

In recent years, industries such as textiles, mechanics, carpentry, and trade in Que An commune have developed rapidly.
Many new agricultural production models, especially acacia nursery, beef cattle farming, fruit tree and straw mushroom growing... bring high economic efficiency.
These new models of planting trees and raising animals are contributing to improving people's lives. Up to now, the average income per capita of the commune has reached 49.2 million VND/year.
"In the coming time, we will continue to focus resources on completing infrastructure in the area to create momentum for socio-economic development.
At the same time, promote production development associated with restructuring the agricultural sector, focus on developing industry and handicrafts to increase people's income, shorten the gap between urban and rural areas, and aim for livable villages for Que An people...", Mr. Hien said.
