23 million students nationwide start new school year

According to the report, at around 8:45 a.m., after the opening ceremony, many students ran up to the stage to get balloons. At that time, Mr. C. was smoking a cigarette and accidentally touched the balloons, causing them to explode, burning the surrounding students.

Afterwards, the Department of Education and Training and local authorities worked with Yen Phu Primary School. At the meeting, the school's Board of Directors clearly identified Mr. C's responsibility for smoking, causing the explosion. In this incident, the teacher did not do it on purpose, so the Board of Directors held a meeting and agreed to require Mr. C to learn from his experience and at the same time strictly enforce the ban on smoking in the school.

According to the law, Mr. C. will be administratively fined, ranging from 200,000 to 500,000 VND. The school has proposed a fine of 350,000 VND. The local government will decide on the fine.

Da Nang: Parents protest school merger, dozens of students cannot go to school
