Many products displayed at the Conference on Trade Promotion and Import-Export Development in the Mekong Delta

This morning, September 6, the Ministry of Industry and Trade coordinated with a number of People's Committees of provinces and cities to organize the Conference on Trade Promotion and Import-Export Development in the Mekong Delta region in Can Tho City.

The conference was co-chaired by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang; Mr. Nguyen Thuc Hien - Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee; Mr. Le Van Su - Vice Chairman of Ca Mau People's Committee.

Attending the conference were about 200 delegates, including leaders of People's Committees of provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region, leaders of relevant units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, industry associations, representatives of business support agencies and organizations, manufacturing, import-export, trade, logistics services enterprises...

This is one of a series of 6 conferences on trade promotion and import-export development in economic regions across the country, aiming to exchange and discuss regional linkage solutions in trade promotion and import-export development organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Besides the Conference, there are more than 100 typical products of provinces and cities on display.

There are 25 booths displaying nearly 100 typical products from provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region.

This is an opportunity for manufacturers and distributors to access the market as well as promote regional linkages in trade promotion and import and export.
