Pig price today February 23, 2025: Increased by 3,000 VND/kg

Pig prices today, February 23, 2025, recorded a strong increase in all three regions. In particular, in the Southern region, some localities increased by up to 3,000 VND/kg.

Northern region

The price of live pigs today (February 23, 2025) in the Northern region recorded a slight increase in the two provinces of Phu Tho and Ha Nam, both increasing by 1,000 VND/kg and at the same level as Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Hanoi and Thai Binh with 72,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area is still maintained at around 70,000 - 72,000 VND/kg. In contrast, Lao Cai and Nam Dinh are the two localities with the lowest price of live pigs in the region at 70,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

Today's live pig price (February 23, 2025) in the Central Highlands region, except for the three provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Quang Tri, is stable, while most provinces and cities have increased from 1,000 to 2,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this region is still fluctuating between 71,000 - 75,000 VND/kg. Of which, Lam Dong is the locality with the highest price in the region at 75,000 VND/kg, followed by Dak Lak and Binh Thuan at 74,000 VND/kg. On the contrary, Quang Tri and Khanh Hoa sell the lowest price of live pigs in the region at 71,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

The price of live pigs in the Southern region today (February 23, 2025) recorded a sharp increase in most provinces and cities. In particular, Can Tho increased by 3,000 VND/kg, while Dong Thap, An Giang, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces increased by 2,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area is still fluctuating between 74,000 - 76,000 VND/kg. Of which, Dong Nai, Can Tho, Dong Thap, An Giang, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Ca Mau all reached 76,000 VND/kg.

In general, the price of live pigs today (February 23, 2025) recorded a sharp increase in the South and the North in most provinces and cities. In general, the price of live pigs is being traded in the range of 70,000 - 76,000 VND/kg.
