Students enjoy new knowledge

As soon as they entered the factory gate, nearly 30 students exclaimed with delight when they saw the eye-catching display of raw materials and products, and the elaborate miniature production model with many different stages.

To help students visualize, company staff also took them on a tour of the actual production line of each noodle package, the machine operation process, and how to coordinate workers in the factory.

Students listened attentively to the introduction about the formation and development process of Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company. Some students even took notes of new knowledge and actively participated in answering questions to receive gifts.

Children gain more knowledge when they know that noodles are made from wheat flour, the yellow color comes from turmeric powder, and the difference between fried and non-fried noodles...

Fun trip

The only representative of class 8/7 to visit the factory, Le Ha My shared: "I feel proud and very happy. I learned about the automatic noodle production process, and what I like most is watching each package of noodles being regularly produced.

At first, I was a bit shy and worried when going with other classmates, but when I came here, the company staff let us discuss in groups, helping me to be more proactive. As a former class monitor, when I return to school, through class activities, I will proactively stand up and share the knowledge I learned today."

"I found this trip very interesting, learning new things. I was surprised by the production process, there were very few workers and the machines worked automatically. Each package of noodles was very even, if there was any mistake, the machine would automatically detect and eliminate it" - Ngoc Tri (7th grade student) confided.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Thuong - teacher at Kim Dong Secondary School, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City - said that theoretical learning is mostly boring, so these field trips help students become more interested and absorb knowledge faster.

"This was also my first time at the factory. My students and I have the same mentality when eating a pack of noodles, we all ask the question "How is this pack of noodles made?" So through the trip and seeing the process with our own eyes, it was easier for me to educate the students.

Many parents limit their children's intake of noodles because they are afraid of frying them in oil many times. Now that they know the color of the noodles comes from turmeric powder, they feel more secure when using the product," said Mr. Thuong.

Training communication skills for students

Through field trips, students are able to see and hear. This stimulates their curiosity, helping them confidently discuss and raise their hands to answer questions within their knowledge.

Nguyen Gia Han (7th grade student) said she was one of three representatives who got to go on a practical learning experience.

"This is the first time I have been on a field trip, I am very honored to be able to study at a large-scale factory. I learned more about the noodle production process, and can recognize which noodles are fried or not.

In addition, I also worked in groups with other classmates, discussing to come up with the correct answer. Many friends wanted me to come back and share this journey so that my classmates would know. I hope there will be more similar trips so that we can learn more" - Han said.

Mr. Dao Dai Duong - teacher at Kim Dong Secondary School, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City - shared: "This is the first field trip for students in the new school year, they are very happy and excited.

Each class only had a few students, so at first they were shy and didn't interact much. But when they came here and got to interact and play games, they became more open and sociable."
