On the evening of June 16, Mr. Vo Khanh Toan, Secretary of the Tien Phong Commune Party Committee (Que Phong, Nghe An) said that the authorities are trying to find the woman who went swimming at Sao Va waterfall in the area and then drowned and went missing.
At around 3:00 p.m. the same day, a group of 16 guests from Vinh City went to Chau Kim Commune, Que Phong District to attend a wedding, then went to play and bathe at Sao Va waterfall.
While bathing in the waterfall, 3 people slipped and fell, but 2 were rescued in time, while Ms. NTHY (born in 1982, residing in Nghi Phu commune, Vinh city) drowned and went missing.
Upon receiving the news, Tien Phong commune authorities quickly mobilized forces to search for Ms. Y. By 7:30 p.m., the victim's whereabouts had not yet been found.
