This award has great significance in my career, marking a milestone in my career. Today, receiving this award, I feel very happy and proud.

Ngoc Khang said that the title of People's Artist is the motivation for him to continue to strive and contribute to the people and the Fatherland: "When receiving the title of People's Artist, I realized that I must continue to strive and contribute more, to be worthy of being an artist of the people, an artist in the heart of the Fatherland".

Not only a performing artist, People's Artist Ngoc Khang is also a vocal teacher at the Vietnam National Academy of Music, the Military University of Culture and Arts, and the Hanoi School of Art.

Therefore, he is fully aware of his responsibility in training generations of genuine artists who are dedicated to the country's art. Some of his students have become famous, such as Meritorious Artist Ploong Thiet, Meritorious Artist Thanh Binh, singer Dinh Manh Ninh...

On this special occasion, People's Artist Ngoc Khang said he will carry out new music projects, including the 5th live show marking a new milestone and step in his career. This is a program he has cherished for a long time and plans to carry out next year.

Artist Ngoc Khang (real name Tran Van Khang) has been known to the public since he was a student of the Vocal Music Department, Hanoi Conservatory of Music, winning first prize in the Hanoi Voice Contest. In 1989, Ngoc Khang studied abroad for 7 years at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music (Russia) and graduated with a Master's degree. To this day, he is still one of the most well-trained opera singers in the country.

In 1997, he returned to Vietnam and joined the Vietnam National Music and Dance Theatre. In 1999, he was invited by French artists to play the lead role in the opera Life in Paris, which was performed for many nights at the Hanoi Opera House. It was also an opportunity for him to approach advanced music in the world and further improve his vocal technique.

He received much praise from the public and was named one of the best Russian singers in Vietnam.

In 2000, he won the Gold Medal of the National Professional Music and Dance Festival with the song "Flowing on the River" by musician Pho Duc Phuong. He also left his mark in songs about Uncle Ho such as "Ho Chi Minh, the Most Beautiful Name", "You Are the Belief in Certain Victory", "Uncle is Marching with Us"...

From 2000 to 2011, he organized a number of private live shows such as Time and Memories (2000), Winter Love Song (2001), Soul Silence (2011)... with great success, leaving a deep echo in the hearts of the audience at the Hanoi Opera House, the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace, and the Au Co Art Center in Hanoi.

People's Artist Ngoc Khang is one of the brightest stars of the Vietnam National Music, Dance and Theatre. He has performed in many places around the world, participated in various international music festivals, and won many prestigious awards.

Ngoc Khang is an artist who has sung for many heads of state visiting Vietnam. He has twice sung for former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. The first time was in 2010 when Mr. Medvedev visited Vietnam, the second time was in 2012 when he returned to Vietnam as Prime Minister.

In 2013, he was chosen to sing for Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to Vietnam with two famous Russian songs: My Fatherland Russia and Exciting Youth.

People's Artist Ngoc Khang performs the song "Hanoi winter night" in the live show "Silent space of the soul".
