* On the morning of August 31, in the atmosphere of the entire Party, people and army celebrating the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2023), the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province came to offer flowers and incense at the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site (Nam Dan).
On this historic day, respectfully commemorating President Ho Chi Minh, the Party Committee, Government and People of Nghe An province are determined to successfully carry out the cause of innovation, contributing together with the whole country to build and firmly protect the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam.
* On the morning of August 31, in Vinh City, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held a meeting of the Internal Affairs Bloc for August 2023. Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation chaired the meeting.
* On the afternoon of August 31, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee attended the conference to review 2 years of piloting the establishment of the Fisheries Association Party Cell under the Party Committee of Quynh Lap Commune (Hoang Mai Town). The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee to coordinate with the Hoang Mai Town Party Committee to review and evaluate the replication of this model.

* On August 31, the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council agreed to submit to the thematic session of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council for consideration and approval of 7 draft Resolutions on land use conversion and public investment. The Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council also held a meeting to review the draft Resolution in the field of culture - society, expected to be submitted to the thematic session of the Provincial People's Council in September 2023.
* Dien Doai overpass on National Highway 48 over the North-South Expressway, Nghi Son - Dien Chau section, will be opened to traffic tonight (August 31).
* More than 1,000 prisoners in Nghe An had their sentences reduced on the occasion of National Day, September 2. These are the prisoners serving their sentences at prisons in Nghe An province, including: Prison No. 6, Prison No. 3 and the Provincial Police Detention Center.
