Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Vietnam – February 27, 2025 – Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Corporation (PTSC, HNX: PVS), as a member of the TCPT General Contractor Consortium, has jointly signed a turnkey EPC Contract to construct two specially designed ethane storage tanks at the Long Son Petrochemical Complex.
The contract includes Feasibility Study, Design, Supply and Construction of two ultra-cold ethane storage tanks with high safety standards, each with a capacity of approximately 55,000 tonnes, maintaining temperatures as low as -90 degrees Celsius. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2027.
The EPC contract signing ceremony marks an important milestone in the LSP Reclamation Project, a strategic move to use imported ethane from the United States as feedstock. The project will significantly reduce feedstock costs, increase operational flexibility, and contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, affirming LSP’s long-term commitment to sustainable economic development and environmental protection in Vietnam.

The signing ceremony was held at the Long Son Petrochemical Complex in Long Son commune, with the participation of representatives of relevant parties, marking the beginning of an important cooperation that will contribute to Vietnam's industrial development and energy security.
