The 3rd Book and Reading Culture Day displays 6 sets of Vietnam's National History

(Dan Tri) - The opening ceremony and book fair to celebrate Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day will be held at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, from April 17 to April 21.

The 3rd Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day was launched with the message "Good books need readers"; "Precious books for friends"; "Give good books - Buy real books"; "Good books: Eyes read - Ears listen". Book Day is organized in a diverse and rich way, combining traditional activities with modern organization methods following the development trend of electronic publishing; applying information technology to digital transformation to create new values. The opening ceremony and book fair to celebrate Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day will be held at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam (Dong Da district, Hanoi), from April 17 to April 21. The book fair is expected to welcome 10,000-20,000 visitors, and 60 publishing units are expected to introduce about 40,000 books.

The book fair space will display models of 6 books on Vietnam's national history through the ages; use lighting technology to demonstrate and introduce the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam; introduce e-books and display some typical books; promote books of publishers, distribution companies, and technology companies. Another activity organized to celebrate the third Book and Reading Culture Day is the Launching Ceremony of Reading Day for Youth, taking place on the morning of April 19 at the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology. The activity aims to create a highlight and common connection in the overall activities of the third Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day, and at the same time widely deploy the activities of the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day to each subject, locality, especially young people, to spread the value of books and reading culture to young people, thereby building a foundation for developing a reading culture in the community. The 3rd Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day is held to continue affirming the role and importance of books in improving knowledge, educating and training human personality; encouraging and developing the reading movement in the community; enhancing the responsibility of all levels and sectors of the city in developing a reading culture. At the same time, Book Day aims to promote the reading movement, towards building a learning society, creating beauty in the social life of the capital, contributing to building elegant and civilized Hanoians.
