Deputy Secretary of the Ward Youth Union - Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of An Hoi Ward, Vo Duc Anh, shared: “During my work, as Deputy Secretary of the An Hoi Ward Youth Union, I have always been aware of my responsibility for the Youth Union work and the youth movement in the locality. I have directly advised the Ward Youth Union Executive Committee on propaganda activities, organized activities related to the Youth Union work, and contributed ideas in coordinating with units to organize activities for union members, youth, and students. Many practical and meaningful contents have been agreed upon and highly appreciated by the ward leaders and the community. These include: Deploying the model of "Electronic diary of youth following Uncle Ho's teachings" on the occasion of the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday; building an album "55 years of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969 - 2024)" with 16 propaganda articles.

Along with that, every month, Duc Anh and the ward Youth Union organized activities for the model "The foster children of the Youth Union", visiting and giving gifts including necessities (rice, cakes, candies) to 4 students in difficult circumstances in the area (worth about 250 thousand VND/gift). Organized the activity "Giving pillows to send love", giving 10 sets of latex pillows (pillows and pillow covers) along with gifts to the elderly and single workers, parishioners and students in difficult circumstances in the ward.

In particular, Duc Anh advised on the organization to launch the "30 days of saving to celebrate Uncle Ho's birthday" activity, which resulted in 3.3 million VND for the implementation of "Youth following Uncle Ho's words" projects related to the unit's characteristics such as: taking care of single elderly families, taking care of children in difficult circumstances, etc.

With his positive contributions, Duc Anh has been recognized and rewarded by all levels, including a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for his outstanding achievements in implementing the 2024 Provincial Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign; a plaque of recognition for his golden heart from the Chairman of the Ben Tre City People's Committee in 2024 for actively supporting the poor and contributing to social charity programs in Ben Tre City; a certificate of merit from the Standing Committee of the City Youth Union for the title of "Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings" in Ben Tre City in 2024; a certificate of merit from the Vietnam Youth Union Committee of Ben Tre City for the title of "Outstanding Union Officer" in Ben Tre City in 2024...

Study and follow Uncle Ho

For young people, especially the armed forces, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style is always one of the top priorities. Talking about this, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - former Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Thanh Phu District Police said that, as a member of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of the District Police, he proposed and coordinated to effectively implement two topics on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in 2024. In which, for Youth Union officials, the content is: "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style on daring to think, daring to speak, daring to do, daring to take responsibility, daring to innovate, daring to face difficulties and challenges, daring to act for the common good". For union members and young people, the content is: "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style on the spirit of physical exercise and sports". Organize for cadres and union members to register to practice mass and democratic style, set an example associated with assigned political and professional tasks.

Along with that, coordinate and advise on organizing social security activities well such as: registering to support 2 heroic Vietnamese mothers (Thanh Hai commune); donating 500 notebooks, 6 million VND, and many school supplies to students in difficult circumstances at primary and secondary schools in the district; coordinate with the District Police mass organizations to support 115 water tanks for people affected by drought and salinity in the area; coordinate to visit and give 50 gifts to policy families in My An commune with a total amount of over 16 million VND... Coordinate to well implement the 2024 military recruitment campaign; ensure the assigned target of 27 citizens performing their duty to join the People's Public Security. Advise on doing a good job of the military rear, visiting and giving gifts to citizens leaving for military service.

In professional work, for 6 consecutive years (2020 - 2025), Thanh Tung has been commended by the Director of the Provincial Police and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for his outstanding achievements in the peak periods of attacking and suppressing crime; directly advising the District Police Command to effectively implement 8 peak periods of attacking and suppressing crime, ensuring security and order in the district.

From 2020 to present, Thanh Tung has directly advised on the development and implementation of over 100 plans and projects to mobilize officers, soldiers, and members of the District Police to participate in ensuring security and safety during holidays and Tet; important political, cultural, and social events in the locality. At the same time, directly participating in protecting other political events in the locality...

With his continuous efforts, Nguyen Thanh Tung has received many awards such as: Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Police Director for winning second prize in the Storytelling Contest on Ho Chi Minh's moral example and style in 2023; Title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level and Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Police Director for outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "For National Security" in 2024; was recognized as an exemplary Youth Union official in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in 2024 by Thanh Phu District Youth Union; Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Youth Union for the title of "Outstanding Young Party Member" in 2025... Currently, Thanh Tung has just been transferred to a new unit, continuing to strive to fulfill his assigned tasks well.
