(QNO) - The Provincial Inspectorate said that, in accordance with the Decision approving and promulgating the 2024 inspection plan of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman, the entire sector will organize 249 inspections.

Of which, the Provincial Inspectorate organized 14 socio-economic inspections; 3 inspections of the responsibility of heads and checked the implementation of inspection conclusions at a number of local units. Department and branch inspectorates conducted 88 inspections; District, town and city inspectorates conducted 147 inspections.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Chief Inspector of the province said that in 2024, the provincial inspection sector will strengthen inspection of state management work and the responsibility of leaders in performing assigned tasks; focusing on sectors, fields, and localities that are prone to many violations, corruption, negativity, many complaints, denunciations, and public concern.

At the same time, increase publicity and transparency in inspection activities; improve discipline, administrative discipline, and public ethics in inspection activities, especially strictly implementing Regulation No. 131 dated October 27, 2023 of the Politburo on controlling power, preventing corruption and negativity in inspection, supervision, and enforcement of party discipline and in inspection and auditing activities; Directive No. 26 dated October 20, 2023 of the Prime Minister on rectifying and strengthening inspection, examination, and supervision of public service activities; on that basis, strengthen inspection, examination of public service activities, and administrative reform at state agencies.

Along with that, continue to conduct thematic inspections on planning and implementation of construction planning under the direction of the Government Inspectorate. Strengthen the supervision of the activities of the inspection team, appraisal of draft inspection conclusions and post-inspection handling, focusing on effectively organizing the implementation of legal provisions on implementing inspection conclusions, increasing the rate of recovery of money due to violations paid to the State budget. Close coordination between inspection, examination, auditing agencies and internal affairs agencies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of inspection.

In Decision No. 2685 dated December 24, 2024, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Chief Inspector of the province to direct inspection work in the entire Inspectorate of Quang Nam province and monitor, urge and inspect the implementation of the Inspection Plan of Quang Nam province in 2024; synthesize reports to the Provincial People's Committee according to the periodic reports of the Inspectorate.
