Book exhibition opens to celebrate 70 years of Capital Liberation Day

In his opening speech, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Lam said that the exhibition is a meaningful activity, aiming to highlight the significance and great historical value of the Capital's Liberation Day, educating revolutionary traditions, patriotism, the strength of national solidarity, national pride and pride in the heroic thousand-year-old Capital.

The exhibition displays more than 500 rare documents, 2,850 valuable books and book series by domestic and foreign authors; including 205 books about the thousand-year-old capital, as well as important historical milestones such as the Capital Liberation Day 70 years ago, and the process of building and developing Hanoi into an important political, cultural, educational, and economic center.

The exhibition also displays typical books that have been adapted into films throughout historical periods" - Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Lam emphasized.

The exhibition takes place from October 9 to October 13 with many activities such as discussions, book introductions, author and work exchanges, and special art programs. At the same time, promotional and reader appreciation programs are also implemented with many attractive incentives.
