In order to improve the user-friendliness of the Windows 11 operating system, Microsoft has developed and added an extremely useful feature that helps users quickly reinstall their Windows version without losing data.
Windows 11 will allow reinstallation in a completely new way, saving more time and effort |
As spotted by Windows Latest, the new update for the Windows Insider beta branch has added a new feature titled “Fix Problems using Windows Update.” This new feature will allow users to use Windows Update to reinstall or restore the operating system.
Accordingly, users can reinstall the new Windows 11 at Windows Update without needing an external drive (or USB), or downloading any additional files. In particular, applications, files and settings on the device will still be preserved. Currently, the feature is still in the process of completion.
Microsoft has been teasing this new feature for six months now on its information page, but the fact that the option is being set in the public beta of Windows 11 suggests that it's coming soon.
This is certainly good news for many users, especially those who do not have much knowledge about hardware and software and are always 'afraid' of reinstalling Windows. Being able to easily 'refresh' their operating system with just one click will be extremely convenient.
