Early morning of September 13 (Vietnam time), Apple officially launched the iPhone 15 series with some significant upgrades in configuration, camera and especially changing from the traditional lightning charging port to type C port.
Accordingly, the two best-selling versions, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, will be equipped with the new A17 Pro processor, manufactured based on the 3nm process.

Apple says the processor has 19 billion transistors and six CPU cores, including two high-performance cores that deliver 10% better single-core performance than any other phone. The remaining four CPU cores are power-saving cores.
According to Apple's announcement, the iPhone 15 Pro 128GB and 15 Pro Max 256GB will have starting prices of $999 and $1,199 respectively.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus also have upgraded cameras with 48MP sensors. The screens of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, in addition to Dynamic Island, will have a 2000 nits peak brightness screen, which Apple calls Super Retina XDR.
In terms of hardware, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will have the A16 Bionic chip equipped on the iPhone 14 Pro, which is still an extremely powerful chip, 6 CPU cores and 5 GPU cores.
Also according to Apple's announcement, the selling prices of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be 799 USD and 899 USD respectively.
Immediately after the launch of the iPhone 15 series, retailers of genuine Apple products in Vietnam announced the estimated prices of these products.
Accordingly, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the best-selling phone model on the market, will be priced at VND 34,999 million - VND 40,999 million for the two memory versions of 256GB and 512GB, respectively. The iPhone 15 Pro Max 1TB alone is priced at VND 46,999 million.
The estimated price of iPhone 15 Pro is 28,999 million VND for the 128GB version, 31,9999 million VND for the 256GB version, 37,999 million VND for the 512GB version and 43,999 million VND for the 1TB version.
The iPhone 15 Plus is priced at VND 25,999 million - VND 34,999 million. Finally, the "regular" iPhone 15 is priced at VND 22,999 - VND 31,999 million, depending on the memory version.

Speaking with reporters from the Journalist and Public Opinion Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, representative of the CellphoneS store chain, said that the iPhone 15 series has many significant upgrades.
The biggest upgrade is the conversion of the charging port to the USB Type-C standard for faster charging, synchronizing the charging standard with iPad Macbook devices in the ecosystem. The camera is also upgraded strongly, providing higher image quality than the previous generation.
In addition, the Titanium frame on the Pro and Pro Max lines provides sturdiness while remaining lighter in weight.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus use a good A16 Bionic chip configuration, improved 48MP camera, long battery life with integrated Type-C charging port and large screen with Dynamic Island cluster.
According to Mr. Huy, 2023 is a difficult year for the economy as well as the technology retail industry, at present the whole market has recorded a sharp decline in sales compared to last year. However, this unit still expects the flagship product, which is the iPhone 15 Pro Max model.
According to CellphoneS' July 2023 survey of iPhone users, iPhone 15 Pro Max is still the most popular product, likely accounting for about 2/3 of the first deposit.
It is known that genuine products will be available for pre-order from September 22, and will be available for sale in Vietnam on September 29.
