Training high quality human resources
Japanese delegation visits Long An College
In order to train high-quality human resources, the province has deployed and implemented the Project of Sending Workers to Work Abroad under Contract for the period 2020-2025. To implement the project, Long An College signed a cooperation program with Esuhai Company Limited. The school created conditions for the company to open representative offices and training centers at the school and its affiliated facilities. Thereby, helping students and workers in the province have the opportunity to study Japanese, receive orientation education and vocational skills training right in the locality; helping learners reduce costs and study time.
In addition, the school and the company are working together to develop a college-level training program (3 years), including 2 years of study at the school, 1 year of internship in Japan. After graduation, the company will send students to work in Japan.
Long An College facilitates Esuhai Company Limited to organize foreign language teaching and orientation education for youth in Long An province.
Principal of Long An College - Le Quoc Hung said: “From 2020 to June 2023, the school and Esuhai Company coordinated to train over 200 interns who are students and youths of Long An. Of these, 135 people left the country, 68 people are being trained waiting to leave the country. When going to work in Japan, students receive benefits such as learning Japanese, working in a modern environment to study, gain more knowledge, skills, and technology of Japan, learn how to organize, work style; good income, accumulate large amounts of money,... After returning home, the school and the company continue to introduce them to work at Japanese companies and enterprises investing in Long An as experts or managers, so their income is high and stable".
Recently, students and young people from Long An have been selected to study and work in Japan in a variety of fields such as mechanics, automobiles, construction, agriculture, aquaculture, food, hotels, etc. Ms. Vu Thi Cam Ly (Duc Lap Ha commune, Duc Hoa district) said: “Since I was in secondary school, I have wanted to work in Japan. When I studied abroad, I only had access to knowledge from books, and had little practical experience. From there, I was determined to participate in the internship program to both work and study. I believe that when I return to Vietnam, I will apply the skills I have learned well and have a job and a stable income at a Japanese enterprise investing in the province.”
Changing Perception
Nowadays, many parents send their children to work abroad not simply because they hope their children will have a high income and send it back home to take care of their families. Instead, they want their children to grow up, learn to be independent, access advances in science and technology,... to improve themselves, and live a useful life for their families and society.
Mr. Huynh Van Hieu (Thanh Phu commune, Thanh Hoa district) shared: "As society develops, many companies and enterprises have a need to recruit skilled workers, including Japanese companies and enterprises investing in the province. When I intended to send my child to work in Japan, I was also worried, but after my child studied Japanese and other skills, I realized that my child had matured and lived with ideals. Therefore, I decided to send my child to work in Japan for 3 years. I also advised my child that when he went to work in Japan, the main purpose is not to earn money but to learn the skills and technology of the neighboring country to develop his future and career later."
Long An College cooperated with Esuhai Company Limited to organize a departure ceremony to send former students, students and youth of Long An to Japan to study and work.
The biggest barrier for workers going to work abroad is the fear of being away from their families, the unfavorable working environment, difficulty integrating into the new environment, etc. However, these worries and concerns are no longer too big of a problem in a society that is rapidly developing in technology, along with the efforts of all levels and sectors in the province.
Specifically, the province proactively and carefully selects reputable companies and enterprises that have the function of sending workers to work abroad such as Esuhai Co., Ltd. Here, the company will spend time helping workers learn about Japanese culture, customs and practices. In addition, the company also has a representative office in Japan to connect and learn about good companies and enterprises with workers and promptly support workers when needed.
Nguyen Ngoc My Anh (Hau Nghia town, Duc Hoa district) shared: “Working far away from my family, I am also worried. However, with the development of technology, whenever I miss my family, I will video call home. In Japan, I will try to improve my foreign language, work hard, comply with the regulations of the company where I am working and related laws to build and protect the image of friendly and sociable Vietnamese people.”
To move towards international integration and attract Japanese enterprises to invest in Long An, creating high-quality human resources is a key factor. Long An College is coordinating with Esuhai Company Limited to do this well, contributing to improving the quality of human resources, creating momentum for local socio-economic development./.
