Kinhtedothi - Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee Ho Tien Thieu has just signed a decision to establish 4 special working groups to inspect and direct the resolution of outstanding issues, ensuring progress and investment efficiency in the area.
Accordingly, the four working groups will focus on public investment projects, investment in the form of public-private partnerships (PPP) and projects using capital outside the state budget.
Each working group will be headed by a leader of the Provincial People's Committee, directly directing the review and resolution of problems. The members include leaders of many key departments and branches such as the Department of Finance, Agriculture and Environment, Construction, Industry and Trade, Justice, Provincial Inspectorate, etc.
In which, working group No. 1 is in charge of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Tien Thieu, focusing on projects in Chi Lang and Huu Lung districts.
Working Group No. 2, led by Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Xuan Huyen, focuses on projects in Van Quan, Binh Gia and Bac Son districts.
Working Groups No. 3 and 4, led by Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee Luong Trong Quynh and Doan Thanh Son, will resolve difficulties for projects in Cao Loc, Loc Binh, Van Lang, Trang Dinh, Dinh Lap districts and Lang Son city.
Four working groups will review projects showing signs of slow progress, inefficient land use or risk of loss or waste of resources; abandoned projects that have not been implemented for many years will be strictly handled according to the law.
One of the important tasks of the working groups is to identify the causes of delays in each project, clarify the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals, and propose solutions.
Lang Son Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to preside over the synthesis of the report and advise on strict handling measures.
The teams will work part-time, mobilizing staff from units to carry out the tasks. The inspection is expected to be completed in March.
