Pay attention to the activities of the grassroots Front
Speaking at the Festival, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong shared that it has become an annual cultural activity, on the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front - the traditional day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, residential areas across the country happily organize the Festival, to review the glorious tradition, arouse the spirit of solidarity and mutual support in life. At the same time, to commend and honor outstanding collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in building and developing residential communities.
According to Mr. Vo Minh Luong, in Rach Bap neighborhood, the majority of people make a living by trading, running motels, working as workers, growing rubber trees, and raising livestock. The officials and people of the neighborhood always promote the spirit of solidarity, helping each other in all activities, contributing to economic development and ensuring local social security.
In 2024 alone, over 99% of households in the neighborhood will achieve the title of “Cultural Family”. Regarding new rural construction, the community has mobilized 2 roads; donated land to asphalt 1 road. Regarding poverty reduction, many encouraging results have been achieved, currently the neighborhood has only 10 poor households.
Environmental protection work is regularly focused on; the people actively participate in the movement to protect national security. Thanks to that, political security and social order and safety in the area are maintained.
Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong suggested that in the coming time, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province continue to promote its traditions, functions and tasks, focus on listening to and gathering opinions, thoughts and legitimate aspirations of the people to reflect to Party and State agencies.
Besides, the Front needs to closely coordinate with the government and member organizations to continue taking care of the activities of the Front and grassroots Front cadres because this is an important area in the work of the Fatherland Front.
“Agencies, departments and branches from the province to the commune regularly stay close to the grassroots, pay more attention to communes and areas with difficulties, create momentum for development, and narrow the income gap between regions. Organize patriotic emulation movements, encourage advanced models, create new momentum for emulation; actively build the Party, build the government, build clean political and social organizations,” Mr. Vo Minh Luong emphasized.
Mobilizing people to get rich legitimately
Reporting at the Festival, Mr. Nguyen Van Minh - Head of the Rach Bap Ward Management Board said that the Ward has 14 self-governing residential groups, with 929 permanent households, 4,250 people and 190 households running boarding houses. The total number of temporary residents is 8,235 people.
In the past time, the Neighborhood Executive Board and other organizations have always created conditions for members, policy households, poor households, and near-poor households to borrow capital from the Social Policy Bank, through forms such as: Clean water capital, student capital, job creation capital, livestock capital, etc., contributing to increasing family income for members.

Referring to the direction and tasks for the coming year, the Head of the Rach Bap Ward Executive Board said that he will continue to strengthen the mobilization of people in the ward to develop the economy, enrich themselves legitimately, and improve their lives. Strive to reduce the number of poor households to 1%. Strictly implement the grassroots democracy regulations, promptly resolve complaints and disputes of the people, and strive for a successful conciliation rate of 95% or more.
In addition, the neighborhood will continue to maintain two green, clean, beautiful models and lighting up the countryside roads, the “Civilized Saturday” model. In addition, it will continue to hold meetings with people on uninvested roads to mobilize them to donate land, crops, etc. to propose investment, upgrade hot asphalt concrete, and install lighting systems.
On this occasion, leaders of the Ministry of National Defense presented 100 gifts to poor households, households in difficult circumstances and policy families in the area.
