In the first quarter of 2025, Party committees and organizations at all levels shall lead, direct the implementation and strengthen the inspection of the publicity, transparency, and accountability of organizations and the operations of agencies, organizations, and units. At the same time, direct the review, development, and implementation of norms and standards for state administrative agencies and public service units according to regulations.

Agencies have transferred work positions for 22/34 cases of cadres, civil servants, and public employees of administrative agencies and public service units that had to transfer work positions according to regulations on anti-corruption and anti-corruption.

The Provincial Inspectorate has received and inspected 3,424 declarations of assets and income of those who are obliged to declare assets and income under its authority. Currently, the Provincial Inspectorate is carrying out steps to verify the assets and income of those who are obliged to declare assets and income according to the prescribed procedures.

The Steering Committee has focused on directing prosecution agencies to improve efficiency in coordinating the detection, investigation, and handling of corruption and negative cases, including in the non-state sector.

Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department Nguyen Manh Ha informed that in the first quarter of 2025, the Provincial Police's investigation agencies prosecuted and investigated 29 cases, 48 ​​defendants for corruption and official crimes. Of which, in 2024, 17 cases were transferred, 22 defendants; 6 new cases were prosecuted, 12 defendants; 1 case was re-investigated; 1 case was re-investigated, 1 defendant was re-investigated.

Since the beginning of the year, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee have regularly paid attention to directing and handling the contents of denunciations, complaints, reflections and recommendations related to corruption, waste and negativity. Especially focusing on resolving complaints and denunciations related to personnel of Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

“The Provincial Party Committee’s Internal Affairs Department received, processed, and advised on the handling of 17 complaints, petitions, and reports related to cadres and party members. Of these, the Provincial Steering Committee advised on the handling of 2 petitions; transferred 15 petitions to competent authorities for settlement, and responded to and guided citizens on 2 petitions,” said Mr. Ha.

Based on the discussion of the Steering Committee members, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet concluded the meeting, while emphasizing the key tasks that need to be carried out in the second quarter of 2025.

According to the Provincial Party Secretary, the Steering Committee continues to advise and direct the effective implementation of the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies on preventing corruption, waste and negativity. The focus is on strengthening this work in conjunction with continuing to arrange and streamline the apparatus of the political system according to the Central's policy.
