Chairman of the Association for Supporting Poor Patients of Kien Giang Province, Truong Thang Tran, said that this time the association will mobilize businesses, philanthropists and local authorities to support Hoa Chanh commune in building 32 houses; of which, the association will mobilize 50% of the funding, the rest will be matched by the commune.
Responding to the emulation movement to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Prime Minister and the plan to implement the movement of the Steering Committee to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Kien Giang province, the Association for Supporting Poor Patients of Kien Giang province strives to mobilize businesses and philanthropists to eliminate 100 temporary and dilapidated houses in the province in 2025.
Since the beginning of 2025, the Association for Supporting Poor Patients of Kien Giang province has mobilized the construction of 39 houses, of which 17 have been completed and handed over to beneficiaries. The grassroots associations for supporting poor patients have mobilized the construction and handover of 53 houses .
