Bac Giang won 4 Gold Medals at the 8th National Tug of War Championship in 2025

The 8th National Tug of War Championship 2025 has just ended in Dien Bien province, organized by the Vietnam Sports Administration in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province.

More than 500 officials, coaches, and the best tug-of-war athletes from 19 provinces and cities nationwide participated in 36 events; including 18 indoor events and 18 outdoor events.

Bac Giang men's team (podium number 1) received gold medal in outdoor 520 kg event at the tournament.

The tournament is an opportunity for athletes to exchange, learn, and share experiences, while strengthening solidarity, contributing to promoting the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", promoting the development of national sports in general and tug of war in particular. Through the tournament, the physical strength, stature and spiritual and cultural life of the people will be improved. This is also an important tournament, carefully prepared for the delegations to select and prepare forces to participate in the 10th National Sports Festival in 2026.

After many days of competition with dramatic matches, the 8th National Tug of War Championship 2025 has come to an end. The Bac Giang delegation competed excellently, winning 04 gold medals, 07 silver medals, 04 bronze medals; including 01 gold medal in the mixed 510kg category for men and women, 01 gold medal in the outdoor men's 520kg category, 01 gold medal in the indoor women's 380kg category, 01 gold medal in the indoor 520kg category./.
