(VLO) On August 12, the Saigon Education Quality Assessment Center officially opened the survey and assessment of the quality of university-level education in 3 training programs: tourism, mechatronic engineering technology and electrical-electronic engineering technology of Vinh Long University of Technical Education.
During 4 working days, the survey team of the Saigon Education Quality Assessment Center inspected the self-assessment report, supporting documents, interviewed relevant parties from leaders, students to businesses, and alumni. At the same time, they conducted a field survey of facilities according to 11 standards prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.
The implementation of training program quality assessment is an urgent and fundamental requirement to implement autonomy according to the revised Law on Higher Education; ensuring high quality, consistency from output standards, infrastructure system, staff, program management capacity, updated curriculum system and active teaching methods, helping learners develop their own capacity, meeting the increasingly high recruitment requirements of businesses.
Up to now, Vinh Long University of Technical Education has had 5 university training programs certified for quality accreditation.
