These entities have focused on applying science and technology to agricultural production and processing, thus improving product quality; applying information technology in management and operation; and promoting, introducing, and selling products. Accordingly, the products participating in the program are all goods and tourism services of local origin, with distinctive cultural values ​​and advantages of the locality; especially local specialties, handicraft products, and tourism services based on strengths and advantages in natural conditions, raw materials, knowledge, and local culture. By the end of 2024, the province had 231 products meeting OCOP standards (an increase of 72 products compared to the end of 2023). Of these, 151 products achieved 3-star OCOP status, 80 products achieved 4-star OCOP status (4 products proposed for 5-star OCOP status), involving 135 businesses. In the coming period, the agricultural sector will continue to promote the development of OCOP products, strengthen communication about the OCOP program, and coordinate to create favorable conditions for businesses to participate in trade promotion activities and introduce OCOP products.
