- June 24, 2023, announce admission scores for specialized and integrated high schools and direct admission results.
- On July 10, 2023, the benchmark scores and list of candidates admitted to public grade 10 will be officially announced.
How are the entrance exam scores for grade 10 specialized high schools in Ho Chi Minh City for the 2023-2024 school year calculated?
According to Clause 1, Section V, Appendix IX attached to Official Dispatch 1682/SGDĐT-KTKĐ dated April 11, 2023, the entrance exam scores for grade 10 specialized high schools in Ho Chi Minh City for the 2023-2024 school year are specified as follows:
* For admission scores to specialized classes
Admission scores for specialized classes are calculated using the following formula:
Admission score to specialized class = Literature score + Foreign language score + Math score + (specialized subject score x 2).
* For admission scores to non-specialized classes
Admission score to non-specialized class = Literature score + Foreign language score + Math score.
* Some notes on admission scores to grade 10 specialized high schools in Ho Chi Minh City
- Admission principles:
Only candidates who are eligible to take the entrance exam, have taken all required exams, have not violated the regulations in the entrance exam and all exams have a score greater than 2.
- Admission process:
+ Admission to specialized classes: Based on the regulations on admission scores to specialized classes, from high to low, to recruit enough quotas assigned for each specialized subject.
+ Admission to non-specialized classes: Based on the regulations on admission scores to non-specialized classes, consider from high to low to recruit enough quota for non-specialized classes.

- Junior high school transcript (original);
- Graduation certificate (temporary) issued by educational institutions and submit the original diploma to the application when the Department of Education and Training issues the diploma;
- A valid copy of birth certificate;
- Certificate of preferential policies (if any) issued by a competent authority;
* For high schools in case of direct admission
Admission documents include:
- Admitted students must submit complete admission documents including:
- Junior high school transcript (original);
- Graduation certificate (temporary) issued by educational institutions and submit the original diploma to the application when the Department of Education and Training issues the diploma;
- A valid copy of birth certificate;
- Copy of disability certificate issued by competent authority, valid national and international award certificate issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.
