Urgently preparing to start projects in Van Phong Economic Zone

That was the direction of Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam at a meeting to listen to progress reports on key projects in Van Phong Economic Zone on the morning of March 19.

According to the report of Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board, currently, Van Phong Economic Zone is implementing a number of key projects. In particular, Tu Bong New Urban Area Project and Dam Mon New Urban Area Project are awaiting appraisal by the Ministry of Finance; Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board has signed a contract with Van Ninh District Land Fund Development Center to organize investigation, survey, measurement, counting, and verification of land origin and assets attached to land to serve the site clearance work.

For the Co Ma High-end Urban Area Project, the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board has approved the results of investor selection and signed the project contract, and agreed with the investor on compensation and site clearance; construction is expected to start in July 2025.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam requested the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board to coordinate with investors to promptly complete necessary procedures to soon start the projects as planned; at the same time, agree on the implementation plan of specific projects proposed by the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board; request to speed up the progress of measuring, counting, determining land prices, and compensation for site clearance at the projects. The Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board and investors, sectors and localities coordinate to find solutions to remove obstacles for the Ho Na High-class Resort Project.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam also directed the Management Board of Van Phong Economic Zone to develop a specific progress schedule in the coming time, assign specific tasks to each relevant unit; urgently advise the Provincial People's Committee on projects in sub-zones 1, 2, 4, 5 of Van Phong Economic Zone to submit to the Provincial Party Committee for consideration of investment policy.
