Phong Dien; small industrial establishments and craft villages have not met treatment standards. The rate of domestic wastewater treated in the whole city is 64%.

The technical solution "Manhole system for collecting water, preventing odors, and preventing mosquitoes" was introduced by Sigen Company Limited (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) with outstanding features such as good drainage, preventing odors, retaining solid waste, preventing mosquitoes and harmful insects from breeding... This new technological solution has been granted 15 exclusive patents by the Department of Intellectual Property, utility solutions, industrial designs, trademark registration certificates and the product has been applied in many urban projects across the country.

Through the assessment of the wastewater drainage system of Hue City; the current situation of dengue fever in the city and prevention measures, the need to apply new technology water collection manhole system solutions to construction and renovation projects of the drainage system is appropriate and necessary, helping to solve the remaining problems related to the traditional manhole system; proposing solutions for urban problems such as flooding, environmental pollution and diseases caused by mosquitoes. The application of new technology solutions also contributes to improving the quality of life of people through improving the drainage system and environmental sanitation, contributing to building a green, clean and beautiful urban area.
