(To Quoc) - With more than 200 documents and artifacts, the exhibition "Ho Chi Minh's Footprints in China" introduces to the public the imprints of President Ho Chi Minh that remain in China, demonstrating the close friendship between the Chinese people and President Ho Chi Minh as well as the long-lasting revolutionary friendship between the people of Vietnam and China.
Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the day Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh first set foot in China on his journey to find a way to save the country (November 11, 1924 - November 11, 2024); Looking towards the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - China diplomatic relations (1950 - 2025), on the afternoon of November 11, the Ho Chi Minh Museum coordinated with the Central Party Office Archives Department to develop the content of the exhibition "Ho Chi Minh's Footprints in China".

Attending and cutting the ribbon to open the exhibition were Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Vu Thanh Mai; Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong; Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Ha Vi; Russian Ambassador to Vietnam Gennady Stepanovich Bezdetko.
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Dr. Vu Manh Ha, Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, emphasized that President Ho Chi Minh was a great leader of the Vietnamese people and a close friend of the Chinese people. He devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation of the Vietnamese people, tirelessly striving for peace and progress around the world, and devoted himself to cultivating and developing the friendship between the two Parties and peoples of Vietnam and China.
During his revolutionary career, China was a place he visited many times, lived there for many periods of time, made many Chinese friends and left behind deep feelings. Many places in China still bear the footprints of President Ho Chi Minh, touching people's hearts and becoming vivid symbols of the Vietnam - China friendship.
The Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum said that the thematic exhibition introduces to the public more than 200 typical documents, images, and artifacts, including many unique and special artifacts that deeply reflect the revolutionary activities of President Ho Chi Minh in China through the ages.
His close affection for his comrades, friends and the Chinese people is still present in the hearts of many people here.
Today, the places marking President Ho Chi Minh's revolutionary activities in China have been preserved and promoted by the leaders of the Party, State, Government at all levels and the Chinese people, becoming red addresses for educating revolutionary traditions and friendly exchanges for the people of the two countries, especially the young generation.
"These are not only important memorials of President Ho Chi Minh in China but also invaluable spiritual heritages, connecting and transmitting the friendship of "both comrades and brothers" between the two Parties, two States and peoples of Vietnam and China," emphasized Dr. Vu Manh Ha.

Through the thematic exhibition, the Organizing Committee wishes to convey the message: The steadfast, solid friendship, standing shoulder to shoulder in the revolutionary cause and national construction between Vietnam and China, which was painstakingly built and nurtured by President Ho Chi Minh, Chairman Mao Zedong and previous leaders, is an extremely valuable common asset, the foundation of development. The Party, State and people of Vietnam and China need to "inherit well, protect well, and promote well" that valuable asset.

The exhibition "Ho Chi Minh's Footprints in China" consists of 3 parts: Revolutionary Footprints - The Source of Friendship; Across the Land of China - Deepening Friendship; Ho Chi Minh's Imprint - Everlasting Friendship.
Part I: Revolutionary Footprints - The Source of Friendship:
During President Ho Chi Minh's revolutionary career, China was the place where he spent the longest time in revolutionary activities and where he made the most friends. In the 1920s, Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh went to Guangzhou and Hong Kong to participate in the activities of the Chinese Communist Party and to build up the Vietnamese revolutionary forces.
Many places in China have left their marks, demonstrating his tireless efforts for the revolutionary cause, along with the glorious moments of the Vietnamese and Chinese people fighting side by side. That was the beginning of the fine tradition of always supporting each other in the revolutionary struggle between Vietnam and China.
Part II: Across the Chinese Land - Deepening Friendship:
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, especially in the last years of his life, President Ho Chi Minh often paid friendly visits to China, met, held talks and talked with leaders of the Chinese Party and State. At the same time, on these occasions, he also visited public works, farms, factories, schools, scenic spots and resorts in many places.
His brotherly affection for the Chinese people still exists in the hearts of many people here. It can be said that President Ho Chi Minh devoted his entire life to promoting and developing the friendly relationship between the people of Vietnam and China, was the one who opened the door to friendly relations between the two countries and always received the respect and nostalgia of every Chinese person.

Today, the places bearing the footprints of President Ho Chi Minh's revolutionary activities in China are still preserved and promoted by the leaders of the Party, State, authorities at all levels and the Chinese people, becoming red addresses for educating revolutionary traditions and organizing exchange activities for people of all walks of life of the two countries, especially the young generation. These are not only important memorial sites of President Ho Chi Minh in China but also invaluable spiritual heritages, connecting and transmitting the friendship of "both comrades and brothers" between Vietnam and China.
The exhibition will be on display at the Ho Chi Minh Museum from November 11, 2024 to the end of April 2025./.
