On the morning of July 10, the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA), Vietbuild International Construction Exhibition Joint Stock Company, Alta Media and partners jointly organized the iTech Expo 2024 International Technology Forum to introduce new technologies, promote economic and trade connections, and develop global science, technology and engineering. The event took place over 3 days, from July 10 to 12, at Quang Trung Software Park (District 12, Ho Chi Minh City).

With the theme “New technology for the new era”, the exhibition area includes more than 350 booths displaying smart, highly applicable technology solutions from brands such as: Intel, ASUS, Zoho, QTSC, VNPT, Viettel, Mobifone, CMC Telecom, Galaxy Holdings, Dai Nam...

Many new and modern technologies are introduced and displayed at the exhibition area.

Highlights include product groups and solutions related to smart lighting technology, smart urban development applications, consumer electronics, information technology, production equipment and electronic components...

The organizing committee representative said that iTech Expo 2024 has the participation of technology businesses from more than 10 countries and territories in the region.

Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association delivered the opening speech at the event.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association, said: “In the 2024 - 2029 term, HCA considers iTech Expo as a milestone to kick off a new development phase, after 12 years of absence. It took us nearly a year to complete the preparation for iTech Expo 2024. Despite many difficulties in attracting foreign businesses due to the impact of the global economic situation, the event still received the attention and support of partners, technology businesses, and members. Hopefully, this event promises to bring leading technologies of the times, enhancing future connections,” Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long shared.

Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Thi Dieu Thuy said that with its position as the economic center of the Southern region, a gathering place for many domestic and international enterprises, including many digital technology enterprises, Ho Chi Minh City has set a goal of becoming a civilized, dynamic and creative city by 2030, with high-quality human resources, a modern industrial service city, and a locomotive of the digital economy.

To contribute to the above goal, Ho Chi Minh City is in dire need of new production resources, such as digital human resources, digital technology, digital data, etc. Therefore, the iTech Expo 2024 event is considered a highlight, a place of interest for international and Vietnamese enterprises. This is also an opportunity for leaders and leading experts in the technology field to meet, trade, promote images, and enhance brands.

In addition, within the framework of the program, there will be 9 specialized iTech Forum seminars to stay ahead of the trend, with the participation of speakers from domestic and international technology corporations and enterprises.
