89 newly established businesses

In the first months of 2025, Vinh Long proposed key tasks and solutions to improve the business environment, strengthen confidence and create more motivation for businesses to overcome difficulties, continue to recover and develop.

At the same time, organize contact and dialogue with enterprises, cooperatives, and business households; promptly grasp difficulties and proactively resolve problems arising from enterprises and cooperatives right at the grassroots level.

In the first quarter, the province granted certificates of registration for the establishment of 89 new enterprises with a total registered capital of VND361,689 billion, and 17 certificates of establishment of branches, reaching 18.92% of the yearly plan.

Compared to the same period in 2024, the number of newly established enterprises increased by 3.5%. In addition, new investment policies/investment registration certificates were granted to 7 projects (5 domestic projects, 2 FDI projects) with a total registered capital equivalent to VND 951 billion and USD 680,000; there were 2 expanded investment projects under FDI projects with an additional registered capital of USD 13.5 million.
