Thus, along with the first round of honors held in Hanoi in January, in addition to the individuals and groups mentioned above, a total of 48 athletes and coaches were awarded national coach and athlete certificates.

The Organizing Committee awarded prizes and certificates of merit to individuals and groups with achievements.
According to Mr. Do Viet Hung, Chairman of VIRESA, the Ceremony to honor and confer the title of Vietnamese e-sports athletes is a special event to honor individuals and groups who have contributed to building and raising the level of Vietnamese e-sports. The conferment of the title of athlete is not only a recognition of achievements, motivation, and encouragement for athletes to compete with all their might, aiming to improve their achievements at regional and international sports events, especially when the 33rd SEA Games, the Asian Youth Games and the 20th ASIAD are approaching, but also an important step in formalizing e-sports as a profession recognized by society.
According to statistics, in 2023 and 2024, the athlete ranking event attracted the participation of hundreds of athletes, many of whom were awarded the title of Grandmaster, while many athletes and coaches were recognized at the national level. This not only demonstrates strong development but also proves that Vietnamese e-sports is gradually professionalizing, aiming to be in the leading group in Asia.
The 33rd SEA Games is scheduled to take place from December 9-20 in Thailand. According to information from the Organizing Committee, e-sports at the 33rd SEA Games will have a total of 4 disciplines with 6 competitions. In the previous 2 games, Vietnamese e-sports won a total of 15 medals including 5 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 4 bronze medals.
Meanwhile, in the spirit of continuing and promoting the achievements of ASIAD 19, ASIAD 20 scheduled to be held next year will also be an opportunity for Vietnamese e-sports to shine in the international arena, thereby affirming the position of Vietnamese e-sports on the world map.
