Building the culture of 'AI tea land' Thai Nguyen

Thai Nguyen province aims that by 2025, 100% of cadres, civil servants and public employees in agencies and units in the province will learn and apply AI platforms to support their work.

The goal that Thai Nguyen province sets out is to build and form the culture of "AI of tea land" and the mindset of "AI First" (prioritizing AI) in solving practical problems, in order to improve productivity and quality of work.

AI is a fundamental technology field of the fourth industrial revolution, contributing to creating a breakthrough in production capacity, enhancing national competitiveness, and promoting sustainable economic growth.

Therefore, popularizing and bringing AI into life is an important task that needs to be done immediately by sectors and localities.

For Thai Nguyen, the Provincial Party Executive Committee promptly issued Resolution No. 01-NQ/TU on the Digital Transformation Program for the 2021-2025 period, with a vision to 2030, becoming one of the few pioneering provinces and cities in the country to have a specialized Resolution on digital transformation.

Next, to specify the digital transformation goals, the Thai Nguyen provincial government issued a Plan to implement the "Popular AI Learning" program and the Digital Capacity Development Project for the 2024-2025 period.

The program "Popular AI Learning" in Thai Nguyen is being strongly implemented with great determination, striving to have 100% of localities in the province form a network to implement the program "Popular AI Learning" at the grassroots level by the end of 2025; all agencies and units in the area establish a core group of cadres to spread the program right in their own agencies and units.

In addition, agencies and units also proactively organize for 100% of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers to learn and apply AI platforms to support their work, of which 50% of cadres apply AI effectively, seeing productivity and quality in performing tasks.

Strive to have 80% of business owners, cooperatives, and individual business households learn and apply AI platforms to support management, production and business organization, and product development, of which 50% apply effectively.

One of the important goals of “Popular AI Learning” in Thai Nguyen is to form a culture of applying “AI of the tea land” in the whole province with 80% of working-age people participating in online basic AI skills training classes, of which at least 50% of workers are capable of using basic AI skills.

To truly make AI applications a permanent habit of all people in daily life, it is required that from now on, all levels, sectors, agencies, units, localities, organizations, and enterprises must consider the implementation of the emulation movement "Popular AI learning" as a key task.

In which, the unit leader must work hand in hand, promote the role of direction and management, proactively develop programs and plans and speed up implementation progress.

It is necessary to diversify content, enrich forms, promote the spirit of learning and creative thinking, and ensure the highest results.

Timely detect, foster and replicate advanced models, good and creative practices at the grassroots level, while at the same time inspecting and evaluating to ensure authenticity, without formality or ostentation.

Many solutions have been proposed, including focusing on building and training a team of experts in AI and digital transformation; improving the quality of source lecturers and core staff; and building community groups to share and support in training, coaching and applying AI platforms.

In particular, it is required that every cadre, civil servant, public employee, worker and all people actively and proactively learn and study about AI, promote the application of AI in life, constantly spread and share about AI with family, friends, colleagues and the whole community...
