Agricultural production continues to develop, affirming its role as one of the "pillars" of the provincial economy. Accordingly, the value of agricultural - forestry - fishery production is estimated at 16,631 billion VND (2010 comparable price), up 3.3% (530 billion VND), reaching 100.1% of the first quarter plan and 31.6% of the 2025 plan. Notably, compared to the same period in 2024, the production value of 4 key products: rice, mango, ornamental flowers, and pangasius all increased.

In the spirit of industrial restructuring, the province promotes the role of the processing industry as a growth driver. Most enterprises and production facilities quickly stabilized after the Tet holiday. Trade and service activities are quite vibrant, meeting people's consumption needs well. The trend of shopping through e-commerce platforms is chosen by many people due to its convenience and promotional programs. Total retail sales of goods and consumer services in the first quarter are estimated at VND 38,000 billion, up 12.42% over the same period in 2024, reaching 100% of the growth scenario and 23.99% of the annual plan. A positive signal for export activities is that the total export turnover of goods is estimated at 506 million USD, up 17.76%, reaching 113.71% of the first quarter plan and 23% of the annual plan. Rice and seafood exports continued to contribute significantly, growing year-on-year, exceeding the first quarter plan. Notably, the total border trade import-export turnover in the first quarter was estimated at 330 million USD, up 69.51%, reaching 160.98% of the first quarter plan and 36.67% of the yearly plan.

In addition, the province's tourism has grown positively, with the total number of tourists estimated at 1.62 million, up 40.87%, reaching 32.4% of the yearly plan. Tourism revenue reached 900 billion VND, up 87.5%, reaching 42.86% of the yearly plan. The occupancy rate of accommodation facilities in the province is estimated at about 70%.

Improving the investment and business environment, developing the private economy and cooperative economy are of interest to the province. It is estimated that by the end of the first quarter, the whole province had more than 170 newly established enterprises, with a total registered capital of more than VND 1,950 billion, reaching 25% of the plan, and at the same time, about 80 enterprises resumed operations. The total number of enterprises operating in the province is estimated at more than 5,300 enterprises. In addition, continuing to implement major projects that have been approved by the Provincial People's Committee for investors (Hoa Thanh Residential Area, An Lac 1 New Urban Area, Vinh Phuoc Urban Area; Bon Mua Urban Area)...
