On April 6, the leader of Khanh Hoa Province's Department of Health said that the Department had requested Khanh Hoa General Hospital to report the incident of "patients being transferred to Da Nang Hospital, Khanh Hoa General Hospital required them to use the hospital's ambulance to get a discharge certificate".

People "accuse" the hospital of "not allowing transfers by outside vehicles"

Previously, on Facebook, on April 3, Thu Huyen's account posted many pictures, videos and an article with the content "One of the ambulance drivers for Khanh Hoa General Hospital, assaulted and beat the driver of his own car this afternoon,... forced the patient to take the hospital car and had to be accompanied by a doctor and nurse. The total cost from Nha Trang to Da Nang is 21 million VND to get the discharge papers, ambulance drivers picking up patients, be careful of these drivers".

In the following days, Thu Huyen's account continued to post many images with similar content. At the same time, information was pressured by Khanh Hoa General Hospital, requiring to remove posts on Facebook. Among them, there were some posts with the content "My child was beaten and I was also beaten by 2 drivers running in the hospital right on the hospital grounds, no one was responsible for asking, but now they are threatening me mentally and telling me to delete the post";... These posts received many comments and shares.

Through investigation, SGGP Newspaper reporters contacted Facebook account owner Thu Huyen, who confirmed that she posted the above articles on her personal Facebook page and affirmed that the content was true.

Hospital leaders say the information being spread is incorrect.

Meanwhile, the leader of Khanh Hoa General Hospital said that the information spread on Facebook from Thu Huyen's account "has slanderous behavior towards the hospital". The fact that "patients transferred to Da Nang Hospital, Khanh Hoa General Hospital is required to take the hospital's ambulance to get a discharge certificate" is not true.

"The hospital also did not know about the Facebook post of account holder Thu Huyen until receiving information from the press, and did not contact this person, but account holder Thu Huyen slandered the hospital and mentally threatened them to delete the post," the leader of Khanh Hoa General Hospital informed.

The leader of Khanh Hoa General Hospital also said that it was known that the account owner Thu Huyen opened an ambulance service, not a patient or a patient's family member who was being treated at the hospital and asked to be transferred to Da Nang Hospital. However, this person repeatedly came to persuade patients to transfer to other hospitals, causing disorder in the hospital.

"Whether this person called, the hospital leader answered the phone and explained whether the transfer by vehicle and accompanying medical staff or not depends on the severity of the patient's condition. The treating doctor will explain to the patient's family the decision to choose the option, outsiders cannot intervene, but this person did not understand and called many times, so the hospital leader did not listen anymore," said the leader of Khanh Hoa General Hospital.

According to the leader of Khanh Hoa General Hospital, the information about Thu Huyen's Facebook account "mother and daughter were beaten in the hospital grounds and no one was responsible for asking about them" is also not true. On the afternoon of April 3, in the hospital yard, this person was making noise and causing disorder, so the hospital called the Loc Tho Ward Police to handle the matter.

The leaders of Khanh Hoa General Hospital also said that they have submitted a request to Khanh Hoa Provincial Police to support the investigation and handling according to the law, in order to ensure the hospital's reputation in medical examination and treatment and ensure security and order in the hospital.

A representative of Loc Tho Ward Police informed that the case file is being handled by the local police and will report the results to Khanh Hoa Provincial Police for information according to authority.
