Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh (Thai Nguyen province) is one of the pioneering women connecting the consumption of Thai Nguyen agricultural products to digital platforms and information pages, attracting millions of views. Turning the "golden specialty" underground into a typical product of Thai Nguyen
In 2018, after learning about and verifying the effects of Panax pseudoginseng, a precious medicinal herb of Vietnam, Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh realized the great potential of this precious raw material and decided to establish Thien Phuc Agricultural and Medicinal Herbs Cooperative in Minh Lap Commune, Dong Hy District, Thai Nguyen Province. The cooperative is a common home for women to unite, help each other and develop the economy together on their homeland.
Ms. Binh said: The cooperative has 15 official members and 40 cooperative members, many of whom are disadvantaged women, those in difficult circumstances, and those in special circumstances. The total raw material area of the cooperative is about 35 hectares, growing Morinda officinalis, Bo Chinh ginseng, and other medicinal plants. All are grown and cared for using organic methods. The medicinal herbs are being sold by the cooperative to medicinal companies in Hanoi, with an output of 3-4 tons/year.
In addition to medicinal herbs, the cooperative cooperates with households raising Black H'Mong chickens to combine ginseng products with cuisine. At the end of 2022, ginseng hotpot, ginseng pho, ginseng chicken stew combining Bo Chinh ginseng products with chicken were well received by the market. Following that success, Dong Hy ginseng soup appeared on the "OCOP banquet table" with the message: "Cherish Vietnamese agricultural products, cherish Vietnamese values".

The market for products of Thien Phuc Medicinal Herbs Agricultural Cooperative is present in many provinces and cities across the country, serving ceremonies, parties, clean food stores, etc. During the exploitation and production process, realizing that medicinal herbs were gradually depleting due to exploitation without conservation, Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh built and restored medicinal herb growing areas and researched, combined with a number of local doctors to restore and preserve local precious plants.
Produced according to strict, modern processes, certified to meet food safety conditions, dishes made from ginseng are considered "gold in the ground" and have become a typical product of Thai Nguyen province, present in many provinces and cities across the country, serving large quantities for ceremonies, hotel parties, as well as bringing them to clean food stores. The cooperative is honored to be one of the units that signed a cooperation agreement to promote agricultural trade and rural tourism with Korea.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh wishes to build and restore her hometown's medicinal herb region, spreading the value of medicinal herb products associated with developing community tourism, in which Bo Chinh ginseng stands out.
Spreading the values of Thai Nguyen agricultural products
Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh shared: Finding an outlet for a new product is not easy. She spent 2 years researching and finding markets, traveling to provinces and cities to participate in trade fairs and conferences to promote the cooperative's ginseng products.
To connect product consumption and spread the values of Thai Nguyen agricultural products, Ms. Binh built her own Tiktok channel and connected cooperative subjects, hot tiktokers, streamers (individuals or groups of people who do livestream work on platforms such as Tiktok, Facebook...) to establish the Thai Nguyen Agricultural Specialties group with 20 members.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh added that in the coming time, the cooperative will build a community tourism destination, introducing and displaying typical agricultural products of the province to attract consumers and young people to visit and experience. Thereby, spreading the products of the cooperative as well as Thai Nguyen agricultural products to domestic and international markets, contributing to the development of local trade.
