(GLO)- On the afternoon of June 27, along with the whole country, more than 14,000 candidates in Gia Lai province were present at 41 examination sites to complete exam registration procedures, correct errors (if any) and listen to the dissemination of regulations and exam schedule for the 2023 high school graduation exam.

According to a quick report from the Department of Education and Training (GD-DT) Examination Council, during the regulation study session, the whole province had 14,740/14,861 candidates participating, with 121 candidates absent.
Of these, 7 candidates were proposed by schools for special consideration, including: 1 candidate had a drowning accident (Nguyen Hue High School, Dak Doa district); 1 candidate was hospitalized in a coma (Luong The Vinh High School, Kbang district); 2 candidates with dengue fever are hospitalized (Ly Thuong Kiet High School, Ayun Pa town and Le Hoan High School, Duc Co district); 1 candidate was in the emergency room (Phan Boi Chau High School, Pleiku city); 2 students had a traffic accident and had to be hospitalized (Truong Chinh High School, Chu Se district).
According to the reporter's records, all examination sites have arranged the examination room diagrams in convenient locations for candidates to view and grasp. Although the Covid-19 epidemic has been controlled, the examination sites still focus on epidemic prevention and control with masks and hand sanitizers fully arranged; at the same time, instead of opening the exam centrally, candidates are organized to complete the examination procedures and learn the regulations for each examination room.

During the exam regulations class, candidates are reminded by the exam supervisors to pay attention to the time to be called into the exam room, the time to do the test; items that are not allowed to be brought into the exam room; must sit according to the registration number written on the table; before taking the exam, candidates must fully write down the registration number and information on the exam questions, exam papers, multiple choice answer sheets, and scratch paper; candidates are not allowed to use two colors of ink and red ink to do the exam...
Also on the morning of June 27, more than 2,500 cadres, teachers, police, military inspectors, orderlies, security guards, medical staff... were present at 41 examination sites in 17/17 districts, towns, and cities to receive their duties and prepare for the exam.
To ensure the exam is successful, safe, serious and in accordance with regulations, Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Duy Dinh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Examination, Chairman of the Examination Council and 2 Deputy Directors of the Department of Education and Training directly inspected a number of examination sites. In addition, the Inspection Team of the Ministry of Education and Training authorized 2 universities (Central University of Construction and Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry) and the Inspection Team of the Department of Education and Training with a total of 203 people also participated in the inspection and examination work at the examination sites.
It is known that for this year's High School Graduation Exam, the Examination Council of the Department of Education and Training of Gia Lai province has 14,861 candidates registered to take the exam (14,246 candidates studying in grade 12 and 615 independent candidates); arranged at 41 official examination sites with 659 examination rooms in 17 districts, towns and cities. In addition, the province also arranged backup examination rooms, backup examination sites and staff and teachers to participate in the backup force to ensure the exam takes place successfully, safely, seriously and in accordance with regulations.
On June 28, candidates will begin the first day of exams with Literature in the morning and Math in the afternoon. On June 29, in the morning, candidates will take two combined exams of Natural Sciences and Social Sciences and end the exam in the afternoon with Foreign Language.
