Recognizing 4-star OCOP products for 18 products

(GLO)-On January 14, Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Duong Mah Tiep signed and issued Decision No. 28/QD-UBND on recognizing the results of assessment, classification and granting of 4-star OCOP product certificates under the One Commune One Product Program, Phase II-2024.

Accordingly, the whole province has 18 products of 7 entities granted 4-star OCOP product certificates in phase II-2024, the recognition period is 3 years from the date of signing the recognition decision.

Specifically, the products recognized as 4-star OCOP include: paper filter coffee of Lam Anh Agricultural and Service Cooperative (Tuoh Ktu village, Glar commune, Dak Doa district), Mira Nest bird's nest (raw bird's nest) of Win Nest Alpha Bird's Nest Import-Export Production-Trade One Member Co., Ltd. (348B Tran Hung Dao, Cheo Reo ward, Ayun Pa town); beef jerky, beef jerky pieces, beef jerky sticks, beef jerky, and sun-dried beef jerky of Ba Thuc Farm Cooperative (Hoa Tin village, Nhon Hoa town, Chu Puh district); AGILA ginger honey sticks, AGILA red artichoke honey and ginseng heat-clearing products of Nhat Nong Gia Lai Co., Ltd. (Hoa Loc village, Ia Phang commune, Chu Puh district); frozen passion fruit pulp of Hung Thom Gia Lai Agricultural and Service Cooperative (Nhon Tan village, Dak Ta Ley commune, Mang Yang district); Pure black instant coffee, pure instant coffee and filter bag coffee of Baka Company Limited (Chu Hau 5 village, Ia Yok commune, Ia Grai district); Nhat Minh Anh bird's nest, Nhat Minh Anh raw bird's nest, Nhat Minh Anh baby bird's nest and Nhat Minh Anh dry plucked bird's nest of Tran Quang Dao household (Thanh Ha village, Ia Hrung commune, Ia Grai district.

On the same day, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Mah Tiep also signed and issued Notice No. 02/TB-UBND on the expiration of the 3-star OCOP trademark for 39 products recognized in Decision No. 973/QD-UBND dated December 31, 2021 of the Provincial People's Committee (due to the expiration of the validity period but not participating in the assessment and re-classification).

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies, units and localities to organize inspections and supervision of compliance with regulations for products whose OCOP product certificates have expired in the province; propose handling of violations according to regulations.
