Ba Ria Vung Tau was the better team with many coherent and fast attacks. On the other side of the front line, PVF-CAND showed that they are a well-trained team with good tactical awareness.
Coach Nguyen Ngoc Duy asked his players to play calmly and gradually neutralize the opponent's attacks. They played patiently and waited for counter-attack opportunities. In the second half, this tactic came into play. In the 61st minute, PVF-CAND scored the opening goal of the match.
