Thanh Hoa 2-2 HAGL
Dong A Thanh Hoa Club will host Hoang Anh Gia Lai in the context of not having a new head coach after parting ways with Mr. Velizar Popov. The Thanh team has not had much improvement and their streak of consecutive matches without a win has extended to 11 matches.
Striker Lucas Ribamar opened the scoring for Thanh Hoa early in the second half. However, HAGL quickly turned the game around. Pham Ly Duc - a player who had just been called up to the Vietnam national team for the first time by coach Kim Sang-sik - equalized with a beautiful volley. Not long after that, Tran Minh Vuong scored against Thanh Hoa after a good combination from the left wing.
The home team tried to attack in the rest of the match. Thanh Hoa's efforts helped them equalize in the 10th minute of added time. Ribamar continued to make his mark with a successful penalty kick, tying the score at 2-2.
