More than 90% of Miss Vietnam 2024 contestants are students or bachelors

Misses of all periods appeared at a press conference held on March 20 in Hanoi.

According to Mr. Phung Cong Suong, Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper and Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, this year's contest was launched in December 2024 and attracted a record number of applications with more than 300 candidates participating in the preliminary round. Notably, more than 90% of the candidates are students or have graduated from university, many of whom possess impressive heights, good communication skills in 2-3 foreign languages, and diverse talents such as singing, dancing, and presenting.

Miss Vietnam 2024 marked a breakthrough when it was organized for the first time as a reality TV show. Immediately after the preliminary round, the 41 best contestants entered the common house to record and participate in challenges. This format helps contestants express their personality and talent, while also bringing a more realistic perspective to the audience.

In the Final Round, candidates will participate in activities in Hue, Hanoi and accompany the 66th Tien Phong Marathon National Championship in Quang Tri. The Final Night is expected to take place in April 2025 in Hanoi.
