Faced with the urgent need to restore power to the people and the huge workload of the Electricity sector, the Provincial Military Command has presided over and coordinated with armed units stationed in the area to mobilize forces to support Quang Ninh Electricity Company in restoring the power grid.

Accordingly, starting from September 14, 110 military officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces, Brigade 170, Regiment 213 (under Division 363), and the Naval Region 1 Technical and Professional Training Center coordinated with Quang Ninh Electricity Company to focus on clearing and clearing the ground, creating a safe corridor for the power grid, transporting electric cable rolls, materials, laying and pulling wires, leveling and restoring the ground... at the locations of broken electric poles.
Colonel Pham Van Ton, Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command, said: The units will participate in supporting Quang Ninh Electricity Company to restore the power grid from September 14-19. The officers and soldiers participating in the support all have the highest sense of responsibility and will overcome all difficulties to complete the work contents according to plan.

With the responsible and enthusiastic participation of officers and soldiers of the armed forces, it will help Quang Ninh Power Company to quickly restore power supply to customers as soon as possible. Together with the armed forces, the Electricity industry has mobilized about 1,200 personnel from the Northern Power Corporation, the Central Power Corporation, the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group and a number of other units to support the restoration of the power grid.
As of 2:00 p.m. today, the number of customers with electricity supply across the province is nearly 300,000 customers (65% of the total number of customers).
Previously, on September 7, Typhoon Yagi caused many 500 kV and 220 kV power lines in the northern coastal provinces to break, collapse, and malfunction, causing power outages in the entire Quang Ninh province. According to Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), due to the strong winds and heavy rains of Typhoon No. 3 Yagi, many 500 kV and 220 kV power transmission lines in Quang Ninh and Hai Phong suffered incidents. At the same time, some power lines were proactively cut off to ensure safety.
