DNO - On the afternoon of June 18, at Bien Dong Park, the Union of Friendship Organizations, the Vietnam - India Friendship Association and the City Yoga Association coordinated with the Embassy of India in Vietnam to organize the 2023 Da Nang yoga performance program with the theme "One world, one common health".

Speaking at the program, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Ngo Thi Kim Yen said that the 2023 Da Nang yoga performance program is an event to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India (1972-2023) and to celebrate the 9th International Yoga Day (June 21, 2015 - June 21, 2023).
The event contributes to strengthening solidarity, friendship and cooperation between the people of Da Nang in particular, the people of Vietnam in general and the people of India; introducing Indian cultural values in yoga to the people of Da Nang.
At the same time, encourage physical exercise, improve people's health as well as promote the dynamic and hospitable image of the city's people to domestic and international tourists.
The performance attracted more than 1,500 experts and yoga trainers from India, yoga members from 50 yoga centers and clubs in Da Nang city, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Thua Thien Hue provinces.
Yoga experts and athletes performed special yoga acts, performed the traditional Indian candle lighting ritual and performed yoga to the music “Da Nang I Love”, creating a vibrant atmosphere, contributing to spreading the spirit of connection between people and ethnic groups around the world.
