(CLO) On the afternoon of December 26, the Bac Giang Provincial Journalists Association held a meeting to summarize the Association's work and deploy tasks for 2025; and award journalism prizes on the topic "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style" in 2024.
In 2024, the Provincial Journalists Association successfully held the 11th Congress, term 2024-2029, elected a new Executive Committee; The Provincial Journalists Association was proposed by the Emulation Cluster to receive a Certificate of Merit in 2024.
In addition to professional activities, members actively participate in charity and humanitarian activities. Typically, the Bac Giang Newspaper Association cooperated with the Association for the Protection of Children's Rights and the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Education to organize the program "Wings of Dreams" for disadvantaged children. Through this, 34 agencies, units, businesses and individuals joined hands to support money and gifts worth more than 350 million VND to give to 170 disadvantaged students in 10 districts, towns and cities in the province.

In 2025, the Provincial Journalists Association sets out a number of goals and tasks such as: Striving for 100% of grassroots associations to meet strong standards. Successfully organizing the At Ty Spring Press Festival within the framework of the Bac Giang Provincial Culture and Tourism Week; coordinating with the Emulation Cluster of the Northern mountainous provinces to participate in the National Spring Press Festival.
Organize well the emulation movement and propagate activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day June 21; propagate party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
Maintain good implementation of the 24th Than Nhan Trung Press Award and other specialized press awards; actively coordinate with press agencies to organize professional training courses for members.
At the same time, the Provincial Journalists Association organized an award ceremony for journalistic works on the topic "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style". In 2024, the Provincial Journalists Association received 43 works in the following categories: Print, visual, audio and electronic newspapers. Through the judging rounds, 22 works of good quality were selected for judging and awarding.

Journalistic works on the theme “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle” contribute to promoting propaganda work, promptly encouraging, motivating and spreading typical advanced examples; continue to promote the role of press agencies, cadres, party members and people in preventing and combating degradation in political ideology, morality, lifestyle and manifestations of “self-evolution” and “self-transformation” within the Party; consolidate and strengthen the relationship between the Party and the people...
At the award ceremony, the Provincial Journalists Association awarded 2 A prizes; 4 B prizes; 8 C prizes and 8 Encouragement prizes. Of which, 2 A prizes belonged to the following groups of authors: Minh Ngoc - Cong Doanh (Bac Giang Newspaper) with the work "Bac Giang Blood Drop - National Love, Compatriots' Love (including 3 articles); Thanh Huyen, Quoc Tai, Anh Hoang, Duc Bich (Bac Giang Provincial Radio and Television Station) with the work "Learning and following Uncle Ho: Party members go first, supporting poor households".
