Today, February 11th, the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts (VHNT) held a meeting with artists and writers to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Snake - 2025 and to outline key tasks for 2025.

In 2024, the Association of Literature and Arts organized many outstanding activities such as: summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW, dated June 9, 2014, of the 11th Central Committee on "Building Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of national development" and reviewing 3 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW, dated May 18, 2021, of the Politburo on "Promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style".

Implementing the plan of the Provincial Organizing Committee for major holidays, actively organizing creative activities and promoting important events of the homeland and the country. This included successfully organizing the photo exhibition showcasing the achievements of 70 years of Vinh Linh's tradition and the Creative Camp on the theme of soldiers in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.

Throughout the year, the Association of Literature and Arts actively and proactively advised the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council a Resolution on the Che Lan Vien Literature and Arts Award and the province's annual Literature and Arts Awards, in accordance with the new situation and conditions. In 2024, Quang Tri artists received 12 awards from ministries and departments, and 25 awards from the Provincial People's Committee.

Regarding key tasks for 2025, the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts has set out 12 objectives. These include focusing on implementing creative activities and promoting important events and major national and local holidays.
Continue to vigorously implement Resolution No. 23-NQ/TW of the Politburo on culture and arts in the new situation. Review and complete the remaining tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the Party Congress Resolution for the 2020-2025 term.
Launching a literary and artistic creation campaign on the theme of 50 years after the reunification of the country; participating in commemorative activities, and chairing a seminar on the achievements of 50 years of literature and art in Quang Tri after the reunification of the country on April 30 (1975 – 2025).
In coordination with several units and localities, we organized creative camps for arts and literature based on various themes, including a creative camp on the theme of the People's Police to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Police tradition on August 19th (1954-2025).
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 2 collectives and 2 individuals from the Association of Literature and Arts for their outstanding achievements in 2024; and presented the Quang Tri Provincial Literature and Arts Award to 25 works and projects by winning authors.
