Launching the book "History of the Party Committee of the Bloc of Agencies and Enterprises of Quang Tri Province, period 1960"

This afternoon, February 14, the Party Committee of the Bloc of Agencies and Enterprises of Quang Tri Province (Bloc Party Committee) held an expanded executive committee meeting and launched the book "History of the Party Committee of the Bloc of Agencies and Enterprises of Quang Tri Province, period 1960-2025". Assessing the overall results of leadership and direction in implementing political tasks and Party building work in the 2020-2025 term, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Bloc Do Thi Ly said that since the beginning of the term, the Party Committee of the Bloc has newly established 5 grassroots party organizations (TCCS); received 1 TCCS party; merged 4 grassroots party cells and 1 grassroots party committee to establish 2 grassroots party committees; merged the Party Cell of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Party Cell of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department to establish the Party Cell of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; transferred 4 TCCS party cells according to Regulation No. 60/QD/TW, dated March 8, 2022 of the Secretariat on party organizations in corporations and general companies; transferred 10 TCCS party cells according to Decision No. 1874-QD/TU, dated February 4, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee on transferring party organizations and party members to the Dong Ha City Party Committee.

The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Bloc and the Party Committees of the affiliated Party organizations have always closely followed the policies and directions of the superiors, promoted the sense of responsibility, innovated working style and manners, improved the quality of leadership and direction, built goals, tasks, and solutions for the entire term and annual activities in all aspects of work in a suitable and creative manner to increasingly affirm the role and position of the Party Committee in the new situation.

Political and ideological education work has been increasingly focused on, oriented promptly and innovated with many diverse and rich forms. Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle has been widely implemented, creating positive changes in both awareness and action among cadres and party members.

Many advanced examples, good models, and creative ways of studying and following Uncle Ho have been recognized, commended, and rewarded. The implementation of Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW, dated October 22, 2018 of the Politburo on "Strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation" has always been focused on and deployed in many appropriate forms.

Party member development work has been given attention and focus with many solutions associated with building a contingent of cadres and party members with sufficient qualities, capacity and prestige to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

The work of inspection, supervision, enforcement of party discipline and prevention of corruption, waste and negativity has been strengthened. Mass mobilization work and implementation of grassroots democracy regulations have been promoted, building many skillful mass mobilization models associated with the implementation of tasks of agencies, units and enterprises.

As a result, in the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of the Bloc was awarded the emulation flag of the Provincial People's Committee in 2021; the emulation flag of the Government in 2023; a certificate of merit from the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee in Party building work in 2021 and 2024; a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for studying and following the example of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the period of 2021-2024; a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for many achievements in protecting the Party's ideology, fighting and refuting wrong and hostile views in the period of 2018-2023.

On this occasion, the Party Committee of the Block launched the book "History of the Party Committee of the Mechanical and Enterprise Block of Quang Tri province in the period 1960-2025".

The book consists of 7 chapters, a conclusion and an appendix with 388 pages. According to Secretary of the Party Committee of the Bloc Do Thi Ly, implementing Directive No. 20-CT/TW, dated January 18, 2018 of the Central Party Secretariat (12th tenure) on "Continuing to strengthen and improve the quality of research, compilation, propaganda and education of Party history", the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Bloc for the 2020-2025 term found that the conditions were ripe to conduct research, compilation and publication of the history of the Party Committee; advised and proposed and was approved by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to write the History of the Party Committee of the Bloc of Agencies and Enterprises of Quang Tri province.

Through many times of asking for comments from former Standing members, Standing Committee, and Party Executive Committee of the Bloc through different periods; organizing 2 scientific seminars (in October and December 2024); at the same time, the Editorial Board received many enthusiastic, profound, objective, and scientific comments, contributing to clarifying many important events, breakthroughs, boldly innovating thinking in the leadership and direction of the Bloc Party Committee as well as the achievements of the Party Committee and cadres, party members and workers in the entire Party Committee. In February 2025, the book was printed and published.

Speaking at the conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Ho Dai Nam highly appreciated the results achieved by the Party Committee of the Bloc in the past term, especially the outstanding results in 2024.

With the book "History of the Party Committee of the Bloc of Agencies and Enterprises of Quang Tri Province, period 1960-2025", this is a valuable document. The Steering Committee and members of the Editorial Board have a serious, careful, and open-minded scientific working spirit.

The book is a scientific work that has been carefully researched and compiled; the structure of chapters and sections is reasonable; the historical sources are reliable, the data is abundant; the basic research method is reasonable; the writing style is coherent, meeting the requirements of a historical work of the Party and the industry.

The events of the Party Committee of the Bloc are recreated according to the historical flow, honestly, objectively and comprehensively reflecting the leadership and direction policies of the Party Committee of the Bloc from the beginning to the present, and the outstanding results in all fields during 65 years of construction and development.
