On August 10, the Provincial Party Committee held a conference to review the leadership of the Provincial Party Executive Committee since the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025 to present. Comrade Duong Van Trang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the conference.

Attending the Conference were comrades: A Pot - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Hoa - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; 46/50 comrades are members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee; comrades are members of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; leaders of the Provincial Military Party Committee, the Provincial Border Guard Command Party Committee, the Provincial People's Court; Chairmen of the People's Councils and People's Committees of districts and cities; Heads of the Provincial People's Council's Committees; heads of provincial departments, branches and sectors (not members of the Provincial Party Committee).
Since the beginning of the 2020-2025 term, most of the annual socio-economic targets have been achieved and exceeded the set plan. To date, of the 40 main targets identified in the Resolution, 11 targets have been achieved or are expected to be achieved in 2023; 29 targets are being implemented on schedule. The Provincial Party Committee has focused on leading the synchronous restructuring of the economy towards improving productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness; actively implementing the planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, and improving the investment and business environment, enhancing provincial competitiveness.
The Provincial Party Committee has resolutely directed the management, protection and development of forests; focused on exploiting the potential and strengths of hydropower, wind power, solar power; tourism potential; focused on mobilizing, exploiting and effectively using resources to invest in building synchronous and modern socio-economic infrastructure.
National defense and security are maintained and stable. The overall quality and combat readiness of the provincial armed forces are increasingly improved, meeting the requirements of the task of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation. Political security and social order and safety are ensured. Investigation, prosecution and trial of corruption, negative, complicated cases and incidents of public concern are carried out seriously.
The Provincial Party Committee has effectively implemented Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW, dated October 25, 2021 of the 13th Central Executive Committee "on promoting Party building and rectification and the political system; resolutely preventing, repelling, and strictly handling cadres and Party members who have degraded political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation", associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle. Government building has been focused on, especially administrative reform; increasing the provision and use of online public services. The leadership method of the Party Committee continues to be improved in the direction of being close to work, close to the grassroots, promoting collective intelligence, and promoting the responsibility of the head. Leadership and administration work is more focused, key, thorough, and drastic.
The conference spent a lot of time discussing, evaluating, and finding out the causes of the advantages and limitations in the past of sectors and localities in leading the tasks of economic, cultural, and social development and solutions for the coming time.

In his closing speech at the Conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Duong Van Trang pointed out the limitations and weaknesses in the past time. That is, the work of compensation, site clearance and the progress of implementing important projects of the province are still slow; large-scale agricultural and forestry processing factories have not been attracted. The rate of disbursement of public investment capital is still low. Agriculture has not promoted its advantages and linked with the processing industry and consumer markets. Violations of the Forestry Law still occur. The work of attracting investment to economic zones and industrial parks and clusters still has many difficulties. The operation of cooperatives is not very effective. Poverty reduction results are not really sustainable, the risk of falling back into poverty is high.
Comrade Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Duong Van Trang noted that from the practical leadership and direction in the past half term, lessons have been drawn. That is, it is necessary to study, correctly and creatively apply the Party's policies and resolutions to the actual conditions of the locality; in leadership, direction, administration, and implementation, there must be a focus, key points, and closeness with high political determination, great efforts, drastic actions combined with regular inspection and supervision, timely handling and removal of difficulties, obstacles and arising issues. At the same time, closely combine economic development with strengthening and ensuring national defense and security, maintaining political stability; strengthening foreign affairs and international integration; maximizing internal strength combined with effectively mobilizing external resources. It is necessary to regularly stay close to the grassroots, close to the people, contact, dialogue, listen and promptly resolve pressing issues, legitimate and legal aspirations of the people. Pay attention to and improve all aspects of people's lives. Regularly and effectively lead the implementation of Party building and the consolidation of the political system, especially at the grassroots level. Strengthen propaganda, education and mass mobilization work. Develop and strictly implement democratic regulations at the grassroots level. Strengthen inspection and supervision work, focusing on sensitive areas that are prone to corruption and negativity, following the motto that supervision must be expanded to promptly detect, remind, warn, and prevent violations early, not allowing shortcomings and small violations to accumulate into major violations, prolong and spread; inspection must have a focus and key points; discipline must be strict, timely, and in accordance with regulations.
