On the afternoon of August 16, the Provincial Business Association held its 3rd Congress for the 2022-2027 term.

Attending the Congress were comrades: Nguyen Van Hoa - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen The Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Huynh Tan Phuc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Nguyen Ngoc Sam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, departments, branches, districts, cities and more than 100 members of the Association.

The Provincial Business Association is an association established and officially put into operation since November 2012. After nearly 11 years of operation, the Association now has 130 members, an increase of 50 members compared to when it was first established.
During the past term, the Provincial Business Association continued to uphold its role as a center of solidarity, representing the legitimate interests of businesses; an important bridge between businesses, entrepreneurs and state management agencies in the province. Thereby, it actively contributed to the development of the business community and entrepreneurs of the province, increasing in quantity, quality and scale with 3,973 enterprises (of which, 2,798 enterprises are operating), the efficiency of production and business activities is increasingly improved, actively contributing to solving employment and income for workers and implementing social security policies in the area.
In the new term 2022-2027, the Provincial Business Association strives to increase 20-30% of its members each year; strengthen the organization of training activities, foster management skills for business people; coordinate with departments, branches, sectors and Business Associations of other provinces to organize many seminars and conferences to exchange experiences and business cooperation.

Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Sam acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Provincial Business Association, the business community, and the province's businessmen in the past term.
He suggested that in the 2022-2027 term, the Provincial Business Association continue to overcome the limitations and shortcomings of the previous term, further promote the role of the Association in providing information on laws, markets, business services, and supporting trade promotion; promptly grasp the thoughts, aspirations, difficulties, and problems of members and businesses to propose to the provincial leaders for consideration and resolution in order to create favorable conditions for production and business activities of enterprises, contributing to socio-economic development in the province.
Each enterprise and entrepreneur needs to further promote awareness of compliance with the law, ethics, business culture, social responsibility; arouse the desire for development, entrepreneurial spirit, innovation. Participate in giving advice and proposing policies and strategies for socio-economic development of the province; actively participate in improving the provincial competitiveness index; gradually build the image of Kon Tum entrepreneurs as "professional, self-reliant, dynamic, creative, law-abiding, healthy competition, for sustainable development".

The Congress elected 17 people to the Executive Committee of the Provincial Business Association for the 2022 - 2027 term and Mr. Vo Duy Tuan - Director of Kon Tum Petroleum Branch was elected as Chairman of the Provincial Business Association for the third term (2022 - 2027).
