Thanh Hoa Province Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association enhances people-to-people diplomacy

On the morning of December 23, the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association of Thanh Hoa province held its 4th Congress for the 2024-2029 term. Attending the congress were comrade Nguyen Van Thi, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors in the province; and friendship unions inside and outside the province.

In the 2019-2024 term, the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association of Thanh Hoa province regularly grasps the Party's foreign policies and guidelines, the State's diplomacy and people's foreign affairs. At the same time, it always focuses on the relationship between the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association of Thanh Hoa province and the Thanh Hoa Association in the Russian Federation, specifically the Thanh Hoa Association in Moscow and the Thanh Hoa Association in the Far East of Russia. The Association fully and actively participates in all activities organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association and makes important contributions to these activities.

Thanks to the practical and effective results of the past term, the Association has been awarded certificates of merit to collectives and many individuals by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Central Committee of the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association; many individuals have received commemorative medals for their positive contributions to the development of friendship between the two countries.

The Congress approved the direction and tasks of the association's activities for the 2024-2029 term, which is to continue to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's policies on people's foreign affairs; propagate and disseminate the Party and State's domestic and foreign policies and guidelines, and the great achievements in Vietnam's renovation process so that the people of the two countries can clearly understand the country, people, cultural traditions, history and the comprehensive strategic cooperation relationship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation in general and Thanh Hoa province in particular.

Diversify the content, form and methods of the Association's activities with practical and effective actions in accordance with assigned functions and tasks; care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of members; create a close relationship between the organization and members, and strive together for the development of the Association.

The Executive Committee of the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association, term 2024-2029, was introduced at the congress.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association for the 2024 - 2029 term; Mr. Le Ngoc Hinh was re-elected as President of the Association for the 2024-2029 term.
