Maximum support for families of martyrs in the terrorist attack in Dak Lak

This morning (June 29), General To Lam, Minister of Public Security, along with a working delegation of the Ministry and leaders of Dak Lak province, came to burn incense, visit, encourage and present gifts to the families of officers and soldiers who died in the terrorist attack in Dak Lak.

The families of the martyrs were very moved when listening to the sincere words of encouragement from Minister To Lam. In the incident in Dak Lak, there were 4 police martyrs including: Major Hoang Trung (police officer of Ea Ktur commune); Captain Nguyen Dang Nhan (police officer of Ea Ktur commune); Major Tran Quoc Thang (police officer of Ea Tieu commune); Captain Ha Tuan Anh (police officer of Ea Tieu commune) and 2 martyrs: Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Chairman of Ea Tieu commune People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Kien, Secretary of Ea Ktur commune Party Committee.

Minister To Lam burns incense to pay tribute to martyr Hoang Trung.

With the desire to express gratitude, share and encourage the families of the martyrs, the Ministry of Public Security presented a savings book worth 500 million VND, a representative of Vingroup Corporation also supported 500 million VND and many supports from the Crime Prevention Fund and the Comradeship Fund were sent to the families of the police martyrs.

The families of the two martyrs (Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea Tieu commune and Mr. Nguyen Van Kien, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ea Ktur commune) also received support from the Comradeship Fund and the Crime Prevention Fund of the Ministry of Public Security.

Minister of Public Security visits and encourages families of fallen officers and soldiers

General To Lam requested the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, and Police of Dak Lak province to pay attention and create favorable conditions to help the families of martyrs overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives soon, and have appropriate and timely policies for people with meritorious services.

The General requested the professional units of the Ministry and Dak Lak Provincial Police to urgently investigate, clarify, and strictly handle related subjects to soon bring them to justice.

Speaking to the two children of martyr Hoang Trung, the Minister of Public Security hoped that the two children would continue to replace their father, become the support for the family, encourage their grandmother and mother, follow their father's example, and study well. "If you want to follow your father's path and career, you must first try to study well," General To Lam advised the two children.

Coming to burn incense for martyr Nguyen Dang Nhan, Minister To Lam was moved to write sincere lines, expressing gratitude in the condolence book kept by the martyr's family.

“The Ministry of Public Security would like to express our condolences to the family for the sacrifice of martyr Nguyen Dang Nhan for the country, for national security, and for the people. We wish the family good health, a quick stabilization of life, overcoming all difficulties, and overcoming this great loss. The Party, the State, local authorities, the police force, and the people remember the contributions of martyr Nguyen Dang Nhan and his family,” the Minister wrote.

Major General Le Ngoc Chau, Commander of the Mobile Police Command, offered incense to pay tribute to martyrs.

The family of martyr Nguyen Van Kien (Secretary of the Party Committee of Ea Ktur commune) expressed their wish to the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security that the martyr's son, who has finished school and has good academic results, can work in the police force to continue his father's dream.

General To Lam directed Dak Lak Provincial Police to quickly support martyr Kien's son to work in the police force as desired.

Listening to the opinions of martyr Kien's family, General To Lam welcomed the spirit, responsibility and beautiful dream of martyr Kien's son. The General directed Major General Le Vinh Quy, Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police, to quickly guide and support martyr Kien's son to work in the police force as he wished.

Also this morning, the Working Group inspected the scene of the incident at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Ea Tieu Commune and the People's Committee of Ea Ktur Commune. Minister To Lam encouraged the leaders and staff of the People's Committee of Ea Tieu Commune and the People's Committee of Ea Ktur Commune, and expressed condolences for the losses of the Party Committee, government, and people of the two communes, especially the families of the victims in the incident.

The working group inspected the reconstruction of the headquarters of the People's Committee of Ea Tieu commune and the People's Committee of Ea Ktur commune.

Minister To Lam also acknowledged the efforts of the local government and police in quickly stabilizing the situation and rebuilding a new headquarters to continue working.

As reported, on June 11, in Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province, a group of people used guns to attack the headquarters of the People's Committee of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes (including the working area of ​​the commune police), killing and injuring 9 people.

The sacrifices of soldiers and cadres are always remembered by the Party, State and people.

On June 23, the Dak Lak Provincial Police Department's Investigation Security Agency issued a decision to prosecute the case of "terrorism against the people's government; concealing criminals; failing to report crimes and organizing and brokering for others to illegally exit, enter or stay in Vietnam"; issued decisions to prosecute the accused and temporary detention orders against: 75 accused for the crime of "terrorism against the people's government" (according to Article 113 of the 2015 Penal Code), prosecuted 7 accused for the crime of "failure to report crimes" (Article 390 of the 2015 Penal Code), 1 accused for the crime of concealing criminals (Article 389 of the 2015 Penal Code), 1 accused for the crime of "Organizing and brokering for others to illegally exit, enter or stay in Vietnam" (Article 348 of the 2015 Penal Code).
