National Data Association launched and held its first Congress

On March 22, the National Data Association will officially launch and hold its first National Congress, term I, 2025-2030. The Congress has 200 official delegates, representing nearly 400 members, organizations and individuals participating in the Association.

Digital transformation is an inevitable trend of the times and an important driving force for socio-economic development. Deeply aware of the role of data in digital transformation, the Party and the State have resolutely implemented many important policies, including Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 on promoting the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, Resolution No. 175/NQ-CP approving the National Data Center Project... along with strategic directions to exploit and promote the potential of data in all fields.

In that context, the National Data Association was officially established under Decision No. 10/QD-BNV dated January 10, 2025 of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Association was established with the mission of connecting management agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals interested in data and operating in data-related fields, together building a strong data ecosystem, promoting the development of the digital economy and increasing the value of data in the national economy.

The first National Congress of the National Data Association, term 2025-2030, will take place on March 22, 2025, at the Ministry of Public Security Hall, 30 Tran Binh Trong, Hanoi.

This congress is of great significance, aiming to perfect the apparatus and organization, and orient the activities of the National Data Association in the next 5 years.

With the set goals and tasks, the 1st National Data Association Congress, term 2025-2030, will affirm its role and position in the overall socio-economic development of the country, as a common home to gather, unite, motivate, protect the rights and legitimate interests of members, encourage and create favorable conditions for members to improve their knowledge, share experiences, information on data development and scientific and technological achievements in the data field; contribute to national digital transformation in the data field, data development, data products and services, data market, data economy; organize and guide members to comply with and implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws in the application and development of techniques and technologies to ensure data, contributing to promoting the country's socio-economic development.../.
