Hai Duong banking system opens nearly 47,000 social security accounts

Accumulated from the beginning of 2022 (the time Project 06 began to be implemented) to the end of March 31, 2024, Agribank Hai Duong branch is the bank with the highest number of newly opened accounts with 21,770 accounts, accounting for 46.4% of the total number of newly opened accounts of the entire banking system in the province. Ranked 2nd is Agribank Hai Duong II with nearly 5,200 accounts, accounting for 11%. VietinBank Hai Duong ranked 3rd with nearly 4,200 accounts, accounting for 9%.

At the local level, Tu Ky is the district with the largest number of newly opened accounts for social security beneficiaries in the province, with nearly 7,080 accounts, accounting for 15.1%. Ranked second is Binh Giang with nearly 6,000 accounts, accounting for 12.8%. Hai Duong City ranked third with more than 5,310 accounts, accounting for 11.3%.

This is one of the tasks of the banking industry to implement the Project on developing population data applications, electronic identification and authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030 (Project 06).
